We have expertise in the development of environmental programmes, turning policies and ideas into feasible,
costed and working initiatives, using stakeholder consultation and consensus design to assist in this process. For example:
- From 2005-2008, Impetus assisted the Energy Saving Trust with the development of its 'Key Account Management' (now 'One-to-One') programme. This offers individual local authorities bespoke support and advice on climate change mitigation.
- From 2000-2001, Impetus played an instrumental part in setting up the Local Authority Energy Advisory Service - the precursor to the Practical help programme.
- In 2001-2002, Impetus, working with CSE and the Association for the Conservation of Energy, was contracted
by EST to set up the Carbon Reduction Pilots, the precursor to the Innovation programme.
